Our Purpose....
The State of Nevada's Bicycle and Pedestrian Program resides within the Department of Transportation's Intermodal Planning Section. The program oversees the development of local and State plans, collection of data, field inspections and investigations, and plan review of new facilities related to bicycle and pedestrian facilities.
In addition, the new Safe Routes to School program, recently authorized, will be administrated by our staff. Check back for further details in early 2006.
